On Sunday, April 15, 2012, the Kitsune Ensemble will give two performances at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, as part of the centennial celebration of Japan's gift of cherry trees to America. At 11:30am, we will perform excerpts from Amanogawa and discuss aspects of the suite. At 6:30pm, we will perform the entire Amanogawa, with theatrical performances by Hitomi Nozawa and Benjamin Gaspard, and a sculptural installation designed by Liz Schreiber. Both events are free.
